At Explicit Cars, we value transparency and fairness in every transaction. Since we deal with second-hand cars, luxury cars, and standard cars, our Return & Refund Policy is designed to ensure clarity for both buyers and sellers.

1. General Policy

  • All cars listed on Explicit Cars are pre-owned vehicles. We encourage customers to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, review the documents, and take a test drive before finalizing the purchase.
  • Once a car is booked and payment is initiated, it is considered a confirmed transaction and cannot be returned like a typical product purchase.

2. Booking & Cancellation

  • Customers may cancel a booking request before the final payment/transfer of ownership is completed.
  • In such cases, any booking amount paid may be refunded after deducting applicable administrative or processing charges.
  • Once the ownership transfer process has started, cancellations are not permitted.

3. Refunds on Payments

  • Payments made through Razorpay (our secure payment gateway) are subject to their processing terms and conditions.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method within 7โ€“14 business days, depending on bank timelines.
  • Booking or service charges (such as listing fees, verification fees, or lead charges) are non-refundable.

4. Situations Eligible for Refund

Refunds will only be considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment due to a technical error.
  • Cancellation of booking before ownership transfer.
  • Vehicle found unavailable or already sold after payment has been initiated.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • After the car has been delivered and ownership transferred.
  • If the buyer fails to complete the payment or documentation within the agreed time.
  • Change of mind after vehicle inspection or booking confirmation.
  • Any third-party charges (RTO fees, insurance, loan processing fees, etc.) once initiated.

6. Selling Your Car with Explicit Cars

  • If you are selling your car using our RC number entry system, any verification or listing fees charged are non-refundable once the process has started.
  • In case of cancellation before verification begins, a partial refund may be processed at our discretion.

7. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact our support team with:

  • Transaction ID / Payment Receipt
  • Vehicle Details
  • Reason for Refund Request
